It's about Eclipse!

 It's about six!

Main theme was combine things I did previosly plus some extra. So I guess I can name it a full tuning. Like before rule was to not use any other photos exept base one. Here's the result.

Researching

I started research and found photo done by Dara Eshaghian of white Mitshubishi Eclipse. I consider few other cars but Eclipse won. It gives a lot of possibilities for modifing. Car is white so I can change color to any other with no trouble, there is not too much reflections on car exterior and it's overall tone is simple so I can transform it very easly.

    Backstory

Little story here. When I was kid I watched the first movie of Fast and Furious franchise. It was times when you watch movies on vhs or dvd from local rental and this is how I expirenced it and for the first time discover car tuning. Little later first Underground from Need for Speed series go around and Pimp My Ride host by X-zibit hit on MTV. World felt to fall in love on tuning cars and so do I. That was crazy and fun times! Remember I like so much Paul Walker's green Eclipse. In my eyes it become an icon, a holy grail, a magnum opus, an unattainable ideal, just perfection on car tuning. In my little tribute it needed to be Eclipse so here it is my little love letter for this past times.

Main inspirations and things I grow up on

Building up

When I finally pick up photo for this project, I knew eclipse needs to be green. I know I want add wing and wheel arches, because I did it before and this work it's a little summary. New thing I wanted do here was build some kind of new body kit. I know I'm not able to build a full body kit at my skill level. I decided I will build by expanding exsisting parts and that is what I did also tried a little build up parts above rear wheel with shadows and highlights.

First rough sketch before I started recording

Final thoughts

I'm not really satisfied with final results. I mean it's not perfect, but it's not terrible, it's kind of alright territory. Thing I need improve in future are wheel arches. I don't feel it and don't know exacly how it should be build and how light should act on it. Let's assume it's kinda of a proof of concept, and with that I'm pretty happy.

That all for know! Thanks!
